Privacy policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
In short
Deploy or Die does not create accounts, show ads, use analytics tools or resell any data. The only data that leaves your device is what you choose to send.
Who is responsible?
The data controller is the game publisher named in the legal notice. For any question about personal data, see the Support page.
The game
Your progress (unlocks, achievements, settings, cosmetics) is stored locally on your device. On Steam it can also be synced through Steam Cloud, which is governed by Valve’s privacy policy.
- No personal data is collected automatically.
- No advertising cookie or tracker is used in the game.
- The game never asks for your name, your email or your location.
The Feedback button
If you use the “Feedback” button in the main menu, the text you type (title and message) is turned into a ticket on the project’s public tracker. Do not include any personal information: the ticket is visible to everyone.
- Data sent along with your text: game version, language, platform, device type and, if a run is in progress, class, environment, difficulty and seed.
- The text is cleaned on the server (control characters, mentions and links neutralized) and sending is rate-limited to prevent abuse.
- Legal basis: your consent, given by sending the message. Retention: the life of the ticket, until it is deleted on request.
This website
This website is static: it uses no cookies, no analytics, and no third-party fonts or scripts. Like any host, the hosting provider may keep technical logs (IP address, date, requested page) for a limited time for security and proper operation.
Emails to support
If you write to us, your email address and the content of your message are used only to reply. They are deleted once the request is handled, unless the law requires otherwise.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object, as well as the right to data portability. To exercise them, write to us (Support page). If you disagree, you may contact the supervisory authority of your country (in France, the CNIL).
Children
The game does not automatically collect personal data, including from minors. We ask parents not to let a child publish personal data through the Feedback button.
Changes
This policy may change along with the game. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
